Best hotels in General Santos City

I lived here for 7 years and these are the 5 best hotels to stay in the city.

I’ve been traveling in and out to this bustling metropolis in the south of the Philippines and here are the hotels you should choose from:

  1. Greenleaf Hotel Gensan
Located right in front of SM City giving customers a great location when visiting General Santos. Breakfast was delicious. Beds are good, air conditioning is very good, room cools quickly. Hotel car service in the airport picks up on time. One of the most expensive hotels in the city.

  2. Hotel San Marco
This hotel is very centrally located, close to SM City General Santos and other major malls. The room was OK, European design and cool air conditioning. It was pretty pleasant. Airport pick-up is on time. The best thing that this hotel has going for it is the location- it really can’t be beaten. Perfect for first-time travelers as they have tourist information center that help you go around the city and nearby landmarks.

  4. Microtel Inn and Suites
The hotel is good for business travelers. There’s plenty of bars and restaurant around, however, it’s a bit far from the shopping malls belt.
