Please note that the Embassy does not recommend applicants to submit purchased airline tickets/confirmed airline booking and confirmed hotel reservations prior to their visa application.
Philippine passport holders are not eligible for visas on arrival and are required to get a tourist visa prior to arrival in Egpyt. Egyptian tourist visas are valid from 30 to 180 days upon request. You can apply at the Arab Republic of Egypt Embassy or Consulate in your current country.
You may submit your application to your nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate, note that processing fees may differ. There is no need for you to reserve an appointment to apply.
Required Documents
Please find below the list of requirements for tourist visa application:
- Passport – must be more than 6 months valid, bring a copy of your passport’s bio page.
- Certificate of Employment – includes work duration, position and salary.
- Bank Certificate – original copy signed by the bank manager. Do not submit a bank statement.
- Application Form – fill up the updated form available at the embassy
- 2 x 2 ID size photo(2 pcs) – white background
- Tour Program Itinerary
- Residence card or PR visa or Work visa – if you are applying outside the Philippines
If you are an OFW, submit your original Labor Contract and make sure you have a valid working or business visa in your passport.
Submit your application
You can fill out the tourist visa form when you arrived at the embassy and submit them together with your required documents. Your visa is valid 6 months from the date it was approved and can stay in Egypt up to 30 or 180 days.
Tourist visa fee: Php 2,300.00 (single entry)
Kindly note that visa application is subject to approval and processing takes a minimum of 15 working days or more and visa fees are subject to payment only once your visa application is approved. You can keep your passport with you while waiting for the result.

hello ask ko lang po kung paano ako makakakuha ng visa andito pa ako ng hong kong invite po ako ng friend ko sa egypt na hindi kona kailangang umuwi pa ng pinas.. need ko po yong sagot balak ko po kasing pumunta ngayong august thanks po
If you are an HK resident, you can submit your application in the local Egyptian Embassy, otherwise, you have to go back to the Philippines and apply visa in Manila.
Hello good day , need ko lang advice please ill be traveling to egypt by 10 days , do I need Visa pa vah , I’m in kuwait now holding kuwait residency and I’m married yo Egyptian nationality we have Egyptian son , Confusing kasi ung egyptian embassy dito sa kuwait 4 times na kami pabalik balik d matino sumagot.
Hi, You mentioned minimum of 15 working days for processing but we can keep our passport. After 15 working days and we go back to the embassy, how long pa para makuha yung passport with the visa? Thanks.
Normally, you only need to give your physical passport after 15 days you lodged an application.
So when I give my passport, I get the visa on the same day?

I sorry I mean how can I get the visa the if my passport is with my madam and also only the photos copy I have is it possible yi apply even if only the photo copy of passport I have and my distenatio is in egypt to my fiance
Then you can’t get a visa. How to get your passport from your boss, please contact the nearest DFA Consular Office for help.
