  • Me (FILIPINA) and BF (American) is wanting to go to Egypt. I believe it is required for a Filipino to get a tourist visa prior to arrival to Egypt. The thing is I don’t have a job as my bf want me to travel with him , but I do online business as well. Is there a possibility to get denied or any suggestions I can get? Thanks.

    • Submit Business Permit and other relevant business documents to prove that you are coming back and that you have sufficient travel allowance. In my opinion, it won’t help if you will include your BF in your dossier.

  • Hello,

I would say that your blog has helped me secure the requirements needed to apply for an Egyptian visa. Information online is really rare for the application to this country so kudos to you for being the most up to date. Will apply the visa this week, hoping that it gets approved. Fingers crossed!

    • Reason why I write a blog about it because I can’t find updated information on the web on how to get a visa to Egypt. I was forced to call the embassy in Manila to get updated information as much as possible. Thanks!

      • Kudos to you then! I actually called the embassy to verify the current requirements and all the things they mentioned are what you put here. Hope this blog can also help more Filipinos who plan to go to Egypt for LEGIT tourist purposes.
