  • Hi guys. Try to call the landline number (02) 843 9220 of Egypt Embassy. They will answer all your questions.

    • And oh, they took my passport with my documents. And gave it back to me with the visa after five days 🙂

  • I called the Egyptian embassy earlier to ask for the rate. I’m confused. I asked the rate for the tourist visa and they said it’s 1,500. I asked what the 2,300 fee that I read, and the woman on the line said its the entry visa.

I asked which one applies to me because me and my friends are planning on a holiday to Egypt. She said it really depends. They said they will review the itinerary and docs first and will determine from there.

I really wanted to ask if is possible to get a dual entry tourist visa because we and my friends plan on crossing the border to Israel and back.

The lady on the line was not really accommodating and she immediately hung up when I said “thank you for the info”. 🙁 Not helpful at all.
