Kalibo Aklan – the country’s flag carrier, Philippine Airlines landed its Airbus 320 from Manila to Boracay’s Caticlan Airport this morning. The airport officially opens its runways and welcome the A320’s arrival with water gun salute.

San Miguel Corporation, the firm who initiated the airport expansion said they are also planning to build a bridge that connects Boracay Island to mainland Aklan.
